Feedback Wall

Feedback Cycle Instructions

Feedback has been shown to double the rate of learning. It is important to remember that feedback needs to be explicitly taught and included in your timetabling. In Stage 3, we model feedback strategies explicitly during daily lessons. We also run a 'feedback program' four days per week (2 x 2 day cycles). Students are given the opportunity to use prompt cards to support them when giving and receiving feedback. It is important that feedback is given to students at their instructional level - task, process, self-regulation.

At Shell Cove Public School, we acknowledge the traditional custodians of Dharawal Country and the Waddi Waddi people of the Five Islands Dreaming. We pay our respect to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander elders and peoples; past, present and emerging, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and language to be handed down to future generations. As a community, we value the connections between the mountains, the rivers that flow to the ocean and the land on which our school is built, Dharawal Country.
